Old Town Tree Service participated in Winchester, Virginia's first Tree Fest. It was held in the city's Audubon Arboretum. The event was hosted by the Winchester City Arborist. It was the first of many great Tree Fests to come. The idea is to build interest in arborculture and our local trees. It gives the community a chance to meet and be involved with the people that tend to to trees in Winchester, VA 22601. It is a massive undertaking to maintain the city's trees. Most of it is planning. There is a need to prune trees to promote healthy growth and canopies. A large part of pruning is clearance for signage lights and visibility for traffic. Sometimes tree have outgrown or outlived their life span. They need to removed by a professional tree service. The stumps are then ground and new trees can be planted.
